Emma Stone suffered a wardrobe malfunction on the Oscars and she believes Ryan Gosling's 'I'm Just Ken' is to blame for the same

Emma Stone Admits Ryan Gosling’s Oscars Performance Took a Toll on Her Dress

The 96th Academy Awards concluded on a high note on Sunday with a glittering and
star-studded red carpet followed by a memorable ceremony. Even as Christopher
Nolan landed him and his Oppenheimer
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/oppenheimer/] as the highest-grosser of the
night with seven wins, a major crowd-pulling spectacle of the evening came from
its twin release, Barbie. Specifically, Ryan Gosling, whose ‘I’m Just Ken’
performance, not only vowed the audience but also caused a minor incident for
Emma Stone [https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/emma-stone/].

The energy radiated by the actor’s performance took the Oscar-winning actress by
such a charm that she remained firm on it, having caused her dressing ‘mishap’.

EMMA STONE HAD TO GET STITCHED UP AT THE OSCARS THANKS TO RYAN GOSLING

Nominated for Best Actress for Poor Things, Emma Stone walked down the 2024
Oscars red carpet in a custom Louis Vuitton mint green peplum gown. However, she
suffered a wardrobe malfunction as one of the zippers of her gown went bust,
which she even pointed out while accepting her Best Actress Oscars on stage.
Now, a report by People had the actress reveal
[https://people.com/oscars-2024-emma-stone-sewed-back-in-dress-after-ryan-gosling-performance-im-just-ken-8607148]
that her team “sewed me back in” soon after and that “I generally do think I
busted it during, ‘I’m Just Ken’.”

Stone went on as to how the energetic performance had her “going for it”. The
custom fit meant that the actress had to stay shut inside the dress, which also
restricted her movements. However, the highly spirited one could hardly shy away
from swaying along the beats of Gosling’s performance, and at that moment, the
dress gave way. While accepting her award, she even gestured to presenter
Jessica Lange for help before realizing the zipper had caved out.

In the meantime, Gosling’s performance made its way as one of the most
entertaining ever, especially for its sheer stature.

THE SPECTACLE NAMED ‘I’M JUST KEN’ AT THE 96TH ACADEMY AWARDS

Dressed in a hot pink suit with rhinestones, pink socks, pink leather gloves,
and dark sunglasses, Ryan Gosling sat behind Margot Robbie

him. Repeating his celebrated performance of ‘I’m Just Ken’

the actor and the song’s singer took to the stage along with backup dancers and
65 other ‘Kens’ including Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Ncuti Gatwa, and Kingsley
Ben-Adir.

microphone to audience members such as those from Barbie like Greta Gerwig
