footballer Pele saw the last sun this morrow at the age of 82. And although the
world now mourns his loss, he has made such a substantial impact on each and
every person he ever crossed paths with that the top scorer of all time will
forever stay alive in our hearts. And one such entity who will forever stay
inspired by the athlete is none other than the King Richard actor Will Smith.

The Oscar-winning American actor had made his fandom for the footballer really
explicit when he first shared his excitement to run into the Brazilian
Footballer before dinner. As the world grieves for the legend’s loss, let us

Apparently, back in 2018, Fresh Prince shared a post on his Instagram handle
sharing some happy moments with the King of Football. From what his caption
suggested, they both must have run into each other before dinner, and it only
turned out to be a memorable moment for The Pursuit of Happyness actor as Pele
not only sat and laughed but also signed a t-shirt for Will Smith. You can have

Smith sure must have kept the Souvenir close to his heart. Both have notably
shared highlighting moments of their life during their 2018-19 tour in India.
Pele also shared one such instance on his Twitter, claiming he taught Will Smith
some Soccer skills, “I wonder if he is improving?”

And just four years after their friendship seemingly fastened, the three times
World Cup champion lay still as he bid farewell to the world. Pele, a miracle
for the world of Soccer, breathed his last at the hospital he had been receiving
treatment for his colon cancer and other ailments for the past few months. He
reportedly died of multiple organ failure on December 29th at 3:27 pm local
time.
