According to Konner, Joanne and Noah may be married in their own way, but they have not yet dealt with the family dynamics and expectations surrounding a traditional wedding. Creator Erin Foster, meanwhile, confirmed that the couple really did get married.
Hence, a potential fourth season could explore the fallout and family drama surrounding their unconventional nuptials.
Possible release window of Nobody Wants This Season 4
Beyond Jenni Konner’s comments, Erin Foster has also suggested that Joanne and Noah’s story could continue. The series creator has told Parade that she has “more story to tell” and is interested in exploring what married life looks like for a couple who found love later in life. Kristen Bell and Adam Brody have likewise expressed enthusiasm about returning to the show. However, Netflix has yet to officially renew Nobody Wants This for Season 4.

Given that Season 3 premiered on October 22, an official production timeline has not been announced yet. Netflix will likely need time to assess Season 3's viewership before deciding the show's future. There is a possibility that fans could hear something in early November. However, this is only an estimate, not a confirmed renewal window. If the writers reunite late in 2026 and production begins in spring 2027, the series could return in late 2027.
