Netflix’s One Piece has collected actors with enough talent to make piracy seem suspiciously like a respectable career choice. Iñaki Godoy sells Monkey D. Luffy’s irrepressible optimism, Mackenyu makes Roronoa Zoro’s swords look positively conversational, while Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar bring wit, vulnerability, stunt prowess, and martial-arts discipline aboard the Straw Hat ship. Now season 3 brings talented actors such as Omid Abtahi and Emilio Sakraya to the mix.
Naturally, such a talented crew could not be left alone, so One Piece Season 3 is adding more gifted faces.

Emilio Sakraya as Koza: A martial artist with action-heavy credits like Netflix’s 60 Minutes, Emilio Sakraya brings plenty of fight-ready energy to the Grand Line. As Koza, Princess Vivi’s childhood friend, he becomes the reluctant leader of a massive rebellion after Sir Crocodile’s scheme turns him against King Cobra.
Jamie Ward as Pell: Fresh off The Durrells in Corfu, Jamie Ward brings his emotional range to Alabasta’s airborne protector. As Pell, aka The Falcon, he’s Vivi’s fiercely loyal guardian and one warrior who takes “watching over the kingdom” to sky-high levels.
Nabeel Khan as Chaka: After earning acclaim in The Gold, Nabeel Khan steps into the Grand Line for his biggest international role yet. As Chaka, aka The Jackal, he’s Alabasta’s sharp-fanged royal defender, ready to guard the palace when Pell takes flight.
Omid Abtahi as Toto: Known to genre fans from The Mandalorian and Grogu and American Gods, Omid Abtahi joins the Alabasta saga as a man powered by loyalty. As Toto, he refuses to abandon drought-stricken Yuba, digging day after day for the water he believes will save his king.
Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace: From Cobra Kai to the Grand Line, Xolo Maridueña steps into the Straw Hats’ world as Luffy’s legendary big brother. As Portgas D. Ace, aka Fire Fist Ace, he brings some seriously fiery family business to Alabasta.

Cole Escola as Bon Clay (Mr. 2): Broadway sensation Cole Escola trades Oh, Mary! for the Grand Line’s most delightfully unpredictable shapeshifter. As Bon Clay, they bring theatrical chaos, Clone-Clone powers, and an unexpectedly heartfelt friendship with Luffy.
Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger: After Shadow and Bone and Dungeons & Dragons, Daisy Head joins Baroque Works with a considerably sharper edge. As Miss Doublefinger, she plays a seemingly elegant bartender who can turn just about any part of herself into a spike.
Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1: Rising talent Awdo Awdo steps into One Piece as one of Alabasta’s most formidable assassins. As Mr. 1, he becomes Crocodile’s blade-wielding enforcer, with a body that can turn practically every limb into steel.
The new faces announced in the media promotional video are not the only ones building excitement. One Piece season 3 also brings back plenty of familiar faces for the Alabasta showdown. Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar return as the Straw Hats, joined by Mikaela Hoover’s Chopper. Meanwhile, Charithra Chandran, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Joe Manganiello, and Lera Abova reprise Vivi, Cobra, Crocodile, and Robin, respectively, with trouble very much in tow.
With One Piece even eyeing a theatrical future, fans can only wonder what fun the live-action has in store next.
What to look forward to in One Piece season 3
One Piece Season 3 is where the live-action adventure starts playing for keeps. The Straw Hats are heading into Alabasta, a desert kingdom teetering on the edge of civil war, where political manipulation, manufactured droughts, and carefully planted lies have turned neighbors against neighbors. At the center of it all is Princess Vivi, racing to save a kingdom that is already slipping through her fingers.
Then comes Sir Crocodile, a Warlord of the Sea who makes the previous villains look positively manageable. His Baroque Works operation has infiltrated Alabasta from the shadows, leaving Monkey D. Luffy and his crew to untangle a conspiracy that cannot be solved with a well-placed punch alone. With Crocodile repeatedly pushing Monkey D. Luffy to the brink, the battle promises higher stakes and sharper strategy.

The season also gives the wider crew plenty of room to shine, with Roronoa Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp, and their fellow pirates facing formidable Baroque Works opponents in fiercely personal battles. Meanwhile, Portgas D. Ace adds brotherly warmth and explosive firepower, while Nico Robin brings mystery and buried history into the mix. Put it all together, and Season 3 looks ready to turn One Piece from a grand pirate adventure into an even bigger, bolder spectacle worth watching.
