Netflix’s live-action adaptation of One Piece expands its vibrant universe in Season 2 by adding multiple new characters born out of Eiichiro Oda's genius for his popular manga series. Colletti may be new to some of the small-screen bingers, but he already has crafted an impressive background in theater. He gained his initial recognition through theatrical performances in productions such as the roles of Dewey Finn in School of Rock, Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon, and more, before he started working on the Netflix adventure series. 

Beyond Broadway, Colletti has also starred in The Many Saints of Newark, Garlic and Gunpowder, Just Roll With It, RideShare Confessions, and more. However, the theatrical training will add to his merit in portraying Wapol because the character uses exaggerated movements, vital for a typical villain, terrifying enough to scare the fearless pirate gang.

Wapol, with his not-so-soothing appearance, becomes the main antagonist of the One Piece manga's Drum Island Arc. He is the isolated ruler of the South Blue's Evil Black Drum Kingdom. He possesses powers through the Paramecia-type Munch-Munch Devil Fruit, which grants him the ability to consume all things, including metal, weapons, and living creatures, and transform them into parts of his physical body.

The unusual combination of the tyrant's abilities establishes him as one of the most distinctive villains in the franchise, while the live-action adaptation showcases visually spectacular scenes brought to life by Rob Colletti and his peers.
