Yair Keydar from Parkland, Florida, is one of the most talented junior contestants who appeared during the initial live performance rounds of Star Search. On a stage lit with energetic performances, intricate set design, and mesmerizing stage lighting, his awe-inspiring singing skills shine equally bright.

With his Broadway flair, Keydar glides through soulful music, showcasing his ability to reach different audiences outside of his competition performances. Famous for his stirring renditions of 'Oseh Shalom' and 'Hashkiveinu',  the singer rose to prominence at the age of 11 in an off-Broadway show called Drag: The Musical.

The Jewish music prodigy first attended the Donna Klein Jewish Academy in Boca, followed by voice and dance, as well as acting classes at the Broadway Bound Academy. His first memory of singing live was when he was merely 3 years old.

"The first time I remember singing in public, my mom did an interfaith event at a church and wanted me to do a duet with her in front of about 500 people," Keydar said, per The Times of Israel.

Up next, he will perform with Cantor Magda Fishman and Maestro Tomer Adaddi in a March 11, 2026, concert. But as of now, the 12-year-old Yair Keydar has already established himself as one of the most memorable performers on Netflix's Star Search through his powerful vocals and emotional delivery in the Junior Music category, which features several outstanding artists.
