The 13-year-old recently shared in an interview with The Tennessean that he was thrilled to be selected through a self-taped audition that he recorded at his home. It took nearly four months for the team to select him. Talking about his time on set, he explained how much he enjoyed working alongside the other 11 kids and spoke about inspirations.

When it came to filming, his mother even shared how the team had been very secretive about the script. That alone is enough to intrigue the fans.

Kingston James in not the only new character causing a stir among audiences in Stranger Things Season 5, the show has other new blooms.

Nell Fisher, who is making headlines for her performance, plays the role of the youngest Wheeler in the family, Holly Wheeler. Struggling with isolation, her character makes a friendship with Mr. Whatsit. She is also one of the kids who gets abducted by Vecna.

Another new, funny yet crucial character is Derek Turnbow, who is played by Jake Connelly. Derek is also Holly’s classmate. As for the 13-year-old actor, he is thrilled to be in Hawkins.
