Azul Guaita is a Mexican actress born in 2001 in Mexico City. While many recognise her as Julieta from the Netflix show My Father’s Daughter, she has previously been part of several shows.

Guaita played the role of Jana Cohen in the series, which followed a group of teenagers competing in their school’s Battle of the Bands.  One of her famous shows is Like Water for Chocolate, which follows the romance of Tita and Pedro. My Daughter's Father is a Mexican drama that follows a successful doctor, Maca, and her family. However, things take a devastating turn when she begins her search for a kidney donor for her teenage daughter, Julietta. None of the relatives or family members are a compatible match for the transplant, and it is revealed from medical tests that Maca's husband is not Julietta's biological father. 

These revelations begin the emotional turmoil, guilt, and heartbreak that ultimately cause tension between families. The series has 10 episodes of drama and conflict. Apart from Azul Guaita, Silvia Navarro, Manolo Cardona, Erik Hayser, and Paola Núñez also star in the show.
