Even in a genre as common as heist thrillers, several titles have made a strong impact, such as Ocean's Eleven and Money Heist. Yet another such show is Kaleidoscope. The 2023 limited series takes a fresh spin on the classic heist formula. And brilliantly created by Eric Garcia, the show is packed with plenty of suspense, betrayal, and drama.

What makes the thriller series, Kaleidoscope, even more intriguing is its non-linear storytelling. Now, with many heist thrillers such as The Town and Lift on Netflix, is Kaleidoscope available on the streaming giant? Here is how to watch the series for those who wish to watch or rewatch it.

Kaleidoscope is accessible on the streaming giant, Netflix. The heist thriller follows master thief Leo Pap and his crew as they plan an ambitious $7 billion robbery targeting a high-security vault owned by a powerful security firm. One of the show's most intriguing aspects is its nonlinear storytelling.

With the first event taking place 25 years in the past, the story is told across different timelines. Alongside the heist, the series also explores betrayal, family secrets, and shifting loyalties, making the mission far more complicated than it initially appears. Actor and director Giancarlo Esposito stars as Leo Pap, while Rufus Sewell plays Roger Salas.

The ensemble cast also includes Paz Vega, Rosaline Elbay, Peter Mark Kendall, Jai Courtney, and Tati Gabrielle. Released on Netflix in 2023, all eight episodes of the limited series are available to stream for a binge-watch. This is the perfect thriller show to add to the list of best thrillers on Netflix.

Interestingly, the heist thriller series also took inspiration from a real incident.

Is Kaleidoscope based on Netflix?

Kaleidoscope is inspired by a real-life incident. As reported by Seventeen, the series is loosely based on the events that occurred during Hurricane Sandy in 2012, when nearly $70 billion worth of bonds reportedly went missing from a vault in downtown Manhattan. Rather than recreating the event, the thriller series builds a fictional heist story around the idea of the missing bonds.
