The latest adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel, Stay Close, is streaming on

thrilling journey with yet another miniseries. The beautiful scenic beauty

Now, the fans of the novel will definitely notice a plethora of changes that are
brought into the Netflix adaptation; but the biggest change is the setting of
the entire storyline. The novel originally was set in the United States but they
switched it to the United Kingdom in the miniseries.

Harlan Coben’s entire novel Stay Close is set in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

across the pond to a British town by the name of Ridgewood.

We have to be honest though, Britain is undoubtedly a great place to have a
mystery thriller set in, and honestly, you won’t even mind that they changed the
location of the show.

The producers filmed the entire show in the north-western part of England,
primarily in the cities of Manchester and Blackpool.

Coben shared: “[As well as Manchester], we also used Blackpool, while the book
is set in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Blackpool really looks a lot like Atlantic
City! It’s always a challenge to move things around.”

adaptations are the ones that are slavishly devoted to the text.”

We are hoping we get to see more of these locations should Netflix opt to make
Stay Close Season 2.
