Netflix has announced that Stranger Things season 5 Volume 2, which consists of the three penultimate episodes, will be available on December 25, 2025. In the USA, it is expected to arrive on the streaming platform at 5 PM Pacific / 8 PM Eastern time, offering a mysterious yet gripping Christmas present to the audience. This volume follows the anguish left behind by the Thanksgiving release of Volume 1, which had four episodes launched on November 26, 2025. 

Meanwhile, the last part of this grand finale, comprising a feature-length epic showdown between Hawkins heroes and their greatest foe, i.e, Volume 3, episode 8, will arrive on December 31, 2025, at the same hour, 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. Plunge into a pandemonium of military control, psychological torments, unravelled secrets, dormant powers, and the repercussions of Season 4's atrocities, with the final Stranger Things 5 episodes.

What to expect in Stranger Things 5 Volume 2 and more

With Volume 2, the stakes go even higher. The upcoming episodes titled Shock Jock, Escape from Camazotz, and The Bridge indicate a clash of epic proportions with the forces of darkness, telepathic powers, and emotional struggles taking center stage. Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer told Deadline that the impending episodes will focus on Holly Wheeler and the kidnapping of Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp, who has just unlocked his powers.

Matt Duffer told the outlet, “Especially as we get into Volume 2, we start to answer more and more," how Byers' kidnapping ties in with Wheeler. "Everything sort of comes full circle,” he added. The creators have also indicated that the last episode of the series will close the main narration, but there are plans for more spin-offs, new characters, and extended tales, such as an animation spin-off, Stranger Things: Tales from '85. Prepare to reach the end of the line for the long-awaited mysteries, where horror and heartbreak meet hope with Stranger Things 5 taking over the holidays.
