Almost a decade of starring in Netflix's grand sci-fi blockbuster, Noah Schnapp has evolved into a massive, multifaceted star, able to mix acting, business, and personal growth in a single portfolio. Schnapp has hinted through conversations with SFX magazine that he is ready to venture into new acting roles as soon as his Stranger Things journey comes to an end.
“I’ve played Will Byers for so long, I’m so ready to play another character. Will Byers is my baby; I love him dearly. But is it hard for me to let go? I’d say I’m more excited to explore what’s next for acting purposes... Maybe a comedy or a romantic role, or even play the villain. I’m ready to step out of my comfort zone," Schnapp told SFX magazine, via FanBolt.
As of 2025, Schnapp's camp has not confirmed his participation in any major film or TV roles yet, per the outlet. The actor originally made his acting debut in 2015 playing Charlie Brown in The Peanuts Movie, followed by a supporting role in Steven Spielberg's Bridge of Spies.
Some of Schnapp's other famous movie appearances include Hubie Halloween, Waiting for Anya, Who Are You, Charlie Brown?, The Tutor, and more. Having cultivated ample emotional depth and range by the last season of the Netflix series, he has created a fertile ground for future casting opportunities. Nevertheless, Schnapp's ambitions go far beyond acting.
While rumors are circulating about the actor's potential appearance in The Batman Part II, he is busy earning academic laurels.

Off-screen, Noah Schnapp has been acquiring business skills and film knowledge at the University of Pennsylvania's prestigious Wharton School, majoring in entrepreneurship and innovation. “Education has always been a priority for me. My parents ensured I had proper schooling while filming, and I’ve always valued that path. It was never a question of whether I would attend college, but rather what I would study," Schnapp shared with The Hollywood Reporter.

Indeed, Schnapp has already started TBH (To Be Honest), a sustainable food brand that has been well-received and is now being stocked in more than 2500 stores all over the country. In 2023, Schnapp launched TenderFix, a chicken tender delivery brand with plant-based options. Schnapp also co-founded the footwear brand Drifts.
Besides his business acumen, Noah Schnapp has also shown interest in screenwriting, directing, and character development, especially in the context of making a difference and telling inclusive stories.
