The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan is available to stream on Netflix. The documentary is also available to watch on YouTube in certain regions. It aired in the United States for the first time on April 20, 2010, on PBS Frontline.

Before that, it premiered in the UK at the Royal Society of Arts in March 2010. This 52-minute documentary is directed by Afghan journalist Najibullah Quraishi. It follows an Afghan journalist who sheds light on the harrowing practice of wealthy men keeping impoverished young boys to exploit them for entertainment and s***** activities.

This is also tied to displays of status and power. The practice shown in the eye-opening documentary is illegal under Afghan law. Apart from The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan, the streaming giant has also added several documentaries that shed light on pressing issues today.

Another documentary is The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist by Daniel Roher and Charlie Tyrell. It makes a brilliant attempt to show how AI has already entered several spheres, including jobs and healthcare. Rather than scaring viewers, it focuses on how people can deal with the situation and find a balance to coexist with AI.

The Dinosaurs is another intriguing documentary produced by Steven Spielberg and narrated by Morgan Freeman. It explores the rise and fall of dinosaurs. This lineup makes up the watch list for this month until the streaming giants drop more award-winning documentaries.
