Turkish dramas have quietly become one of streaming’s most reliable rabbit holes. One minute viewers are clicking on a family melodrama, the next they are six episodes deep, emotionally invested in three generations of secrets and suspiciously elegant living rooms.

Netflix’s latest addition, Te Conozco, brings that addictive formula into psychological-thriller territory. Originally titled Seni Tanıyorum, the eight-episode series follows a new mother trying to restart her artistic life after hiring what appears to be the perfect nanny.

Naturally, this is television, so “perfect nanny” translates roughly to “please check the locks.” 

Elçin Sangu as Funda : A painter struggling to reclaim her career after becoming a mother. Funda wants her studio, her identity, and some breathing room back, which makes the arrival of a capable nanny feel almost miraculous. 

Melis Sezen as Nazlı,: The mysterious caregiver who enters Funda’s household appearing calm, helpful, and almost suspiciously ideal. Her arrival gradually turns domestic relief into a psychological minefield filled with buried connections and uncomfortable questions. 

Ozan Dolunay as İlker: Funda’s husband and one of the key figures caught inside the growing tension. As the season unfolds, details from his past begin complicating the family’s increasingly fragile sense of normalcy. 

Cemal Hünal as Kemal: A friend and colleague of Funda who becomes increasingly suspicious of Nazlı. His role gives the story another pair of eyes at exactly the moment Funda starts wondering whether her instincts can still be trusted. 

Efe Taşdelen as Emre: Nazlı’s partner and an important piece of the mystery surrounding her history with İlker. His presence adds another complication to a household already running dangerously low on emotional oxygen. 

Mine Teber as Cemile:, Part of the wider family and social circle surrounding the central trio. Teber joins an ensemble that also includes Nergis Öztürk, Arbil Tabur, Esra Şahin, and Murat Garipağaoğlu.

That ensemble supplies the nerves, but the real hook lies in what happens once Nazlı crosses the front door.

The series begins with Funda overwhelmed by first-time motherhood while trying to hold her marriage together and return to painting. Hiring Nazlı appears to solve the practical problem, giving Funda enough space to step back into her studio and rebuild the part of herself that existed before diapers took over the schedule. Then the warning lights start blinking.

Nazlı carries secrets, İlker has more history than he initially admits, and Funda begins noticing cracks in the supposedly tidy arrangement. Across eight episodes, the story folds domestic drama into slow-burn suspense, jealousy, guilt, paranoia, and the uncomfortable realization that the stranger inside the house may know the family far better than expected. 

Created and written by Tuğba Doğan and directed by Mert Baykal, Te Conozco premiered globally on Netflix on September 17, 2026. Bombon Studios produced the series, with Pelin Diştaş and Kerem Çatay serving as producers.  It also slides neatly into Netflix’s growing shelf of international psychological thrillers, where pristine homes routinely hide enough emotional dynamite to flatten a suburb.
