Kanye West is never short of unique thoughts. The singer is caught up in controversies more than music and has been on a rampage, offending anyone and everyone in the last few months. It even cost him his relations with brands like Adidas, Balenciaga, and GAP. But despite the criticism, he has not stopped expressing his opinions.

As controversial as he may be, the artist is known for his deep meaningful songs and thoughts that often touch on the topics of capitalism, minimalism, and free thought. After appearing on Alex Jones and Tim Pool’s podcast, the singer recently gave his two cents on invention, America, and more.

What did Kanye West say about Nikola Tesla?

Kanye West was all praises for inventor Nikola Tesla. The hip-hop artist most recently answered some of the questions by Wack 100. The video was highly criticized and shut down, but the audio is still available on YouTube. Ye was praising American history, and talking about Tesla, he said, “the information he had would have freed us all so I always say like What if Tesla had an Instagram, how much more free would our people be right now?”

He mentioned how Tesla’s inventions, and how the genius died penniless, trying to sell bombs. He pointed out how the country has been a land of the youngest startups and unique ideas.

Nikola Tesla was a Siberian-American inventor who died in poverty despite earning a lot through his brainiac inventions. Ye’s former friend Elon Musk even named his company Tesla Motors after him. As for West, he is busy running for presidential elections currently. But rather than catering to the crowd, he has kept busy offending Jewish communities, even backing his opinions during interviews.
