Netflix's Wednesday Season 3 filming locations and production updates

Always trust Gomez to be the reliable one, as actor Luis Guzmán finally revealed when Wednesday Season 3 begins filming and where. First shared by Wednesday fan account Micol (@wensadms) on X, Guzmán, in a live Q&A, confirmed that the third season starts filming in February 2026.

Despite Netflix's secrecy surrounding the production timeline, which was initially expected to begin in November 2025 in Ireland, Guzmán declared to the room full of people that they are set to move "back into production in February for the third season. Are you guys ready for the third season?"

Spring 2026 will see the start of season 3 production in Wicklow, Ireland, according to What's on Netflix. That very gothic landscape, which cemented various nooks and crannies of the Nevermore Academy into the mindscape of millions of viewers, would possibly return in the new season, shifting its tone to a scale darker.

Netflix renewed Wednesday for the 3rd season in the summer of 2025, officially before the 2nd season even aired, revealing a big leap of faith in the series’ lasting popularity. And proving the streaming giant quite right, the show still sits as the fourth-most-watched English content on Netflix. With new cast members and a revamped storyline that digs deep into family secrets, Season 3 might even outdo the historic numbers.
