However, this particular choice appears anything but random.

Briarcliff Manor in New York is closely tied to the Tee & Charles Addams Foundation, which oversees the legacy of The Addams Family creator, making the codename a subtle but meaningful nod to the franchise’s roots.

This continues a behind-the-scenes tradition for Wednesday, which has previously used production entities and working titles like 'Nightshade,' 'Raven S3 Productions LLC,' and 'Willow Hill.' Taken together, these choices suggest that showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar remain deeply conscious of the property’s history.
