The hip-hop world is perhaps one of the most happening and controversial segments of the music industry. Hip-hop has given us some of the most influential musicians and artists. However, apart from music, it also gave the audience some iconic controversies. One of the most memorable of them all was the feud between Kanye West and Drake. Undeniably, both Ye and Drake are amongst the most popular artists in the industry today. And recently, Twitter attracted a wave of reactions after the users were made to choose between two iconic albums by the duo.

The lyrics from Drake’s ‘Thank Me Now’, “Your idols become your rivals” stand true when it comes to his bond with Ye. Over a period of a decade, Drake and Ye’s relationship took a complete turn. Drake went from praising and idealizing Ye to engaging in a war of words through songs and social media. And recently RapTv divided the fans in two after it asked the users to choose between Ye’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ and Drake’s ‘Views‘. And interestingly, the reactions were rather peculiar.

While several fans revealed how Ye’s album easily had an edge over that of Drake’s, others seemed to side with Drake. Interestingly, to defend Drake, a fan commented how the ‘Views’ hitmaker wrote a song on Ye’s album. Elsewhere, a user even pointed out how it was a difficult comparison to make since both albums are iconic.

As we all know, Kanye West’s impact on music has been huge. Almost every album by the rapper is iconic and fans can’t seem to get enough of Ye’s creativity. And almost 7 years after its release, here are some peculiar facts about Ye’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’. Firstly, one of the most popular songs on the album ’30 Hours’ was inspired by one of Ye’s exes. Interestingly, the song was an ode by the rapper to his former girlfriend, Sumeke Rainey.
Secondly, Chance the Rapper who featured on Ye’s Ultralight Beam was originally supposed to appear on more songs of the album. As per reports by RevoltTV, the artist was about to appear on two popular songs, ‘Famous’, and ‘Waves’. Interestingly, Chance The Rapper even penned Waves.
