Twenty Five Twenty One Trailer Shows Kim Tae-Ri and Nam Joo-hyuk Looking as Refreshing as Ever

As all fans of K-dramas know, Netflix is diversifying its content more than
ever. The platform is releasing more than 25 K-dramas this year. Some of these
projects are highly anticipated like All of Us Are Dead and Twenty Five Twenty
One. While the former created a storm soon after its release by remaining in Top
10 charts, the latter has an official trailer courtesy to Netflix.


WHAT IS TWENTY ONE TWENTY FIVE ABOUT?

As bright as the trailer of the series looks, it has a little dark undertone.
The K-drama is set in 1998, during a time when South Korea was facing a
financial crisis. We watch the lives of two characters as their businesses went
bankrupt and high schools had to downsize themselves.

Due to this Na Hee-Do, played by Kim Tae-Ri has to abandon her dream of becoming
a professional fencer. Her high school fencing team gets disbanded but she
somehow finds her way to the fencing national team.



On the other hand, there is Baek Yi-Jin played by Nam Joo-Hyuk. The character is
a rich young man whose father’s business goes bankrupt in the same financial
crisis. This leads to a drastic change in his lifestyle from that of a wealthy
person to a poor one. He works part-time, delivers newspapers, and is on his way
to becoming a sports reporter for a broadcasting network.

The one thing that has left fans wondering about this K-Drama is its peculiar
title. Twenty Five Twenty One
