The streaming details of Toy Story 5 have not yet been disclosed, as it is still due for its theatrical run. The Pixar sequel releases on June 19, 2026, in the theatres. Since there is no update on streaming details, it is a bit difficult to determine if it will make its way to Netflix.

Produced by Jessica Choi, it is co-directed by McKenna Harris and Andrew Stanton, who has writing credits on every Toy Story movie. Concept art of the movie depicting the toys navigating a room full of electronics was unveiled at Disney's D23 Expo in 2024. This was around the same time that the voice recording for film started.

Returning cast members include Tony Hale (Forky), Joan Cusack (Jessie), Tim Allen (Buzz), and Tom Hanks (Woody). There are some fresh castings for the new characters, like Conan O'Brien, who will play the clever toy Smarty Pants, Ernie Hudson as Combat Carl, and Anna Faris will play Lilypad.
