The Witcher has all the reasons in the world for fans to like it even after Henry Cavill getting replaced as Geralt of Rivia.

3 Reasons Why ‘The Witcher’ Will Still Be a Good Watch Even After Henry Cavill’s Infamous Exit

All good things end someday! Just like that, Henry Cavill
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] has finally bid farewell to his
iconic role in Netflix’s The Witcher
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/the-witcher/]. Since the dawn of this show, he
has proved himself to be a capable, burly Geralt. The actor has passed on the
torch of this character to Liam Hemsworth, who will play the role from season 4.
But most of the fans are still not convinced of what creators have to offer
them. In fact, one online poll has revealed that more than 80% of viewers have
decided to step back after his exit.

Despite all the doubts fans have about this major change in one of the leading
characters, there are some reasons why the series still got the charm to hook
people.

THE WITCHER SEASON 4 WOULD STILL BE A GOOD BINGE-WATCH AFTER HENRY CAVILL

The performance of Henry Cavill in season 3 left fans emotional when his
character almost faced death. This depiction of Geralt made people even more
attached to the former Superman. However, viewers cannot deny the fact that the
series has many other things that are important for the storyline.

SPLENDID STAR CAST

Actors like Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra have proved themselves worthy of their
characters in The Witcher. Fans have loved the young actress playing Ciri, who
showcased her impeccable talent in the show. The girl took immersive training to
fit the role and become a true fighter, according to the storyline. As for her
on-screen mother, Chalotra challenged the beauty standard

by landing the role of Yennefer.

The books depict this powerful sorcerer as the most beautiful woman in the
world, but she proved that women of color can take the limelight too. Then there
is Joey Batey’s Jaskier, who has been the only light bringer in this world of
wars and battles. His music and bubbly nature provided moments of solace to
other characters.

TRUE TO THE BOOKS

The creators of the fantasy drama have promised viewers that season 4 will
follow the origin story

closely. They have added some talented writers to the team who will explain the
replacement of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. Moreover, the following story
will focus on the princess of Cintra, who goes on a solo journey through the
desert of Korath.

The ending of season 3 dropped a major cliffhanger where Ciri changed her name
to Falka. Not to mention, the fake princess has stolen her identity, so season 4
will show what path she would choose now. Considering she is the key to the
entire story and everything that has happened until now is for her and because
of her.

LEGENDARY STORYLINE

Fans have always questioned the way creators have strayed from the original
storyline. But it is undeniable the show is still an adaptation of one of the
most celebrated fantasy novels in the world. Readers around the globe have
remained attached to the projects that connect with Andrzej Sapkowski’s books.

So with or without Cavill, this show will keep on reminding people of the world
where mages and mutants rule. Also, fans are yet to witness what Liam Hemsworth
will bring to them with his acting talent. And that is something worth a shot
for fans who still want to know more about the impending events.
