journalists claim that even though Henry Cavill is leaving The Witcher

The Witcher Set Is “rich” With Henry Cavill “anecdotes,” Says Crew Members

Henry Cavill [http://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] may be leaving the
Witcherverse for good, but it seems like the set of the Netflix fantasy show
will forever be in reminiscence of his presence. The British actor has
single-handedly breathed life into the live-action adaptation of the lore with
his monster-slaying sword swinging ballad. So much so that doubts turned into
fandom and upon his departure they even signed petitions and threatened to leave
the show.

However, it seems like not only fans but those who have seen him on the set and
had an opportunity to talk with his co-workers also felt his ever-looming
presence all over the place. Just like The Witcher producer recently shared
missing the actor

so will Cavill’s crew members without their Geralt around them.

THE WITCHER CREW WILL MISS HENRY CAVILL’S PRESENCE

Media outlet Digital Spy recently stated
[https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/a44138534/the-witcher-season-3-netflix-set-visit/]
that their team exclusively visited the set, and while Liam Hemsworth will look
marvelous in the Armor, “Cavill’s absence is a shadow that’ll undoubtedly loom
large over the rest of the show’s run,” stated the outlet. Furthermore, from
stunt performers to his co-stars, everyone praised Cavill’s professionalism, and
his kind and helpful behavior. “There was a rich lore of Henry anecdotes,”
according to the journalists. The outlet also revealed that it was not until the
third season’s wrap-up that Cavill’s co-actress. Anya Chalotra got to know about
Cavill’s departure.

Showrunner Lauren Hissrich also revealed that they could have just ended the
show
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/netflix-news-we-had-the-choice-showrunner-of-the-witcher-lauren-hissrich-explains-the-exit-of-henry-cavill/]but
then, many stories would remain untold. Hence, they sought a mid-way that not
only helped them stay loyal to the books, but also kept their Geralt alive.

Meanwhile, here’s everything you ought to know about Cavill’s very last battle
in the Witcherverse and similarities with Game of Thrones and Harry Potter
franchise.

IS THE VERY LAST BATTLE OF HENRY CAVILL AKIN TO HARRY POTTER AND GAME OF
THRONES?

Well, ever since the resurrection of the Netflix fantasy series, fans have been
finding ways to compare the fantasy drama with Game of Thrones. It seems like
they may now have the biggest comparison yet. In their discussion, Hissrich
confirmed that the third season not only is totally faithful to the third book
of the lore but it will also have “more magic than ever.” Seems like they are
truly working for Cavill’s grand farewell.

She further compared the Battle of Arteusa to Harry Potter’s Triwizard
Tournament or Game of Thrones Red Wedding, confessing that the focus will be
more on Ciri’s character development and that bringing the whole thing to
live-action adaption was “genuinely a challenge” for Hissrich, Ciri, and co.
