The upcoming Netflix film adapts the psychological thriller novel Den hemmelige kvinde (which translates to The Secret Woman in English), a psychological thriller novel by Danish authors Anders Rønnow Klarlund and Jacob Weinreich under the joint pen name Anna Ekberg.

As per Netflix, director Barbara Topsøe-Rothenborg leads the production, working alongside talented screenwriter Anders August to craft the suspenseful narrative. Veteran producer Marcella Dichmann oversees the project to ensure a cinematic experience for international viewers.
