Netflix is all set to wrap up one of its most entertaining weeks of the year, which is the 2026 Netflix Is A Joke Festival. This festival, which ran from May 4 to May 10, 2026, had several comedy live events and podcasts that took place across Los Angeles, pulling in celebrities and massive fan crowds alike. One of the biggest venues hosting a festival event is the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

The Roast of Kevin Hart, featuring Kevin Hart and Shane Gillis, Tom Brady, and many more, was held at the indoor arena. Now, this is not the first time Netflix has turned to the Kia Forum for one of its major events. So, what makes this indoor arena such a major attraction for such huge entertainment events?

The Kia Forum in Inglewood is one of the largest multipurpose arena venues in the United States dedicated to music and entertainment. The venue is especially designed with amenities such as excellent sound quality, intimate seating, and several other features that enhance the concert experience. Most importantly, the arena carries immense history.

Opened on December 30, 1967, the venue previously served as the home arena for the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings before both teams moved to Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as the Staples Center. Over the last decade, the venue gradually shifted its focus toward hosting more entertainment events. In 2022, the indoor arena was officially renamed the Kia Forum.

Artists such as Harry Styles, SUGA, Kendrick Lamar, IU, Olivia Rodrigo, Linkin Park, and Billie Eilish have performed at the venue over the last few years. This year, Netflix hosted The Roast of Kevin Hart at the same location. And, last year, the streaming giant organized one of its biggest events at the arena.

One of the highlights of the event was Hanumankind, who performed his viral track 'The Game Don't Stop,' which became the anthem for Squid Game Season 2. Later, Lady Gaga also joined and hyped up the crowd by performing 'Zombieboy,' 'Bloody Mary,' and several other songs during the show. WWE superstars, including Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, also attended the event alongside several other celebrity guests. Safe to say, Kia Forum was the fitting destination for the star-studded event.
