The Reserve, aka Secrets We Keep, revolves around the disappearance of young Filipino au pair Ruby from one of Denmark's most affluent neighbourhoods, north of Copenhagen. Involvement of the neighbor, Cecilie, and a self-initiated investigation by her au pair, Angel, makes the matters worse. The investigation comes with more twists and turns while suspicions of a crime grow.

The gripping mystery has so much more to offer when the power structures and privileges within the beautiful homes start to be exposed. While Cecilie is committed to unravelling the truth, her initiative is put to the test when Ruby's disappearance turns out to be also connected to her own family.

While The Reserve unveils secrets of the rich, the ravishing reviews it got are no secret at all. The functional use of whodunit elements was appreciated, and Collider termed The Reserve as an intelligent, engaging, and even darkly fun miniseries. Heaven of Horror appreciated how the series managed a deep dive into one particular world while also being objective in many ways. Though Netflix is gearing up for a hot summer with many thrillers coming on board, there is something different about the charm of Secrets We Keep. Maintaining the main element of mystery like the old classics, The Reserve could easily be your next binge-watch.
