'The Art of Sarah' Cast: Meet the Stars Behind Netflix’s New Thriller Series

The latest haunting addition this year appears to be The Art of Sarah, as one of its newest thrillers on Netflix. Much like the thrilling journey at its heart, the story is brought to life by a talented cast. So, ahead of The Art of Sarah’s premiere on Netflix, here is a closer look at the stars who breathed life into the characters.

Faces behind The Art of Sarah

The Art of Sarah follows the life of Sarah Kim, played by the versatile Shin Hye-sun. From her comedic turn in Mr. Queen to intense performances in Brave Citizen, Target, and Following, she has shown remarkable range as an actress. She has effortlessly transitioned to gentle characters, such as in See You in My 19th Life. There is no doubt that the actress has once again gone all out for her role in the new mystery thriller.

She is joined by Lee Jun-hyuk, who will play the role of Park Mu-gyeong. He is known for his roles in The Roundup: No Way Out and Stranger, and a special appearance in Mercy for None. 

The two are joined by Kim Jae-won (Our Blues) as Ji Hwon, Jung Da-bin (Live On) as Woo Hyo Eun. Jung Jin-young is also part of the cast in the series, which is sure to test patience. And with this talented lineup at the front, the mystery thriller will closely follow the unsettling events surrounding a murder and, more importantly, Sarah Kim.

Mystery thriller, The Art of Sarah, will follow a businesswoman, Sarah Kim, living a quiet life in Seoul, along with her luxury brand raking in massive success. But everything begins to come crashing down when she gets involved in a murder investigation and a determined detective, Park Mu-gyeong digging into her past. And soon, its secrets begin to put her innocence as well as identity in doubt.

The series comes from writer Chu Song-yeon, who teamed up with director Kim Jin-min to bring the story to life. With a strong cast and a plot that merges crime, mystery, and deeper emotional and psychological layers, The Art of Sarah has all the ingredients to become the best thriller of this year, with its premiere scheduled for February 13, 2026.
