With the release of Netflix’s new Spanish drama, That Night (Esa Noches), the streaming giant has managed to woo both Spanish and international audiences alike. Based on Gillian McAllister’s best-selling British novel by the same name, the six-part show follows three sisters on vacation, and how their little trip turns into a horrific ordeal after a tragic accident.

The thriller is already buzzing with great reviews, and the acting performances in the series have attracted attention. The leads of the show, particularly, have stunned the viewers with their portrayal of deeply flawed and morally conflicted characters. 

After witnessing such strong performances, it is inevitable to be curious about their previous works and showings. 

The three leads of the series, Clara Galle, Claudia Salas, and Paula Usero, who played the Arbizu sisters, Elena, Paula, and Cris, respectively, are the highlights of the show. They made the already gripping narrative riveting with their acting performances. And all of them have a stellar record with their previous outings. 

Clara Galle: Clara Galle, who plays Elena, has previously impressed audiences as Raquel in the Through My Window films and Amaia Olaberria in Olympo.

Claudia Salas: Many people might have seen Claudia Salas, who plays Paula in the very popular Spanish drama Elite as Rebe and in the Netflix series Salvador.

Paula Usero: For Paula Usero, who plays Cris, The Lady's Companion was the actress's most recent Netflix appearance. She has acted in Spanish dramas like The Cook of Castamar, Las abogadas, and Noche de Chicas. 

The other supporting cast members who also fared well in the show were Pedro Casablanc (Policías, en el corazón de la calle), Nüll García (Ferrotipos), and Jan Luis Castellanos (Uglies). Such a formidable cast with an impeccable record is the reason why the Spanish thriller on Netflix turned out to be so good.

The job of the actors would have been tough if the plot and the storyline of the show did not lay a strong foundation for them.

That Night is about three sisters - Elena (Galle), the youngest sister, Paula (Salas), the middle one, and Cris (Usero), the eldest one - who decide to take a vacation to the Dominican Republic. This trip was supposed to be their chance to relax and bond with each other, but an unfortunate incident forces them to spiral out of their minds.

During the trip, Elena, who is a new mother and a little jumpy lately, accidentally ran someone over while he was attempting to rob her. Now, overwhelmed by emotions, instead of calling the cops, she calls her sisters, who all have diverging views on what should be the next step here. The story is all about what choice the sisters make in this situation and if they manage to get out of it unscathed.
