Stranger Writers recently dropped a clip on Twitter and wrote &#8220;To everyone who says our actors look too old to play high schoolers…&#8221; The video showed students sitting in a classroom who looked a lot older than what high schoolers are supposed to be. We all know that horror drama is set in the same 1980s era when this clip was filmed.

In this interview, she revealed that hair is not just about outer look but it also showed those kids are growing up. Sarah Hindsgaul kept it in mind that teenagers would do their hair to define their social status or attract the attention of others.

According to her, during the period the characters are going through, they get influenced by others and try new things. So she did not add any perfection because at this age people feel awkward because they have not found their true selves yet.
