For shows like Stranger Things, sacrifice and death are nothing new or shocking. Right from the beginning of this horror drama, characters have lost so much that cannot be described with mere words. Fans did not get a single season where they did not have to witness something utterly terrifying or soul-shaking. Supernatural creatures invading and ripping people apart was one of the things that remained constant throughout all these years.

But all these depictions never meant that the creators do not have sympathy for the characters who become prey to these heinous monsters. The official new poster for Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is proof that they loved all of them equally.

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is not coming to fans anytime soon. So Universal Studios brought a new idea to keep them entertained while we all wait for the end. For the event, the production company also rolled out a poster featuring all the important faces from season 4. And this included the fan-favorite Eddie Munson, the man who will always stay in the hearts of the audience.

In the poster, they added his pictures from the iconic scene where he showcased one of his many talents. Though it always pains viewers to recall that moment when he met his death, it is still one of the most memorable scenes of the show. The way he jumped onto the roof and started playing that electrifying music on his guitar is something engraved in the minds of the fans.

It is indeed one of the most heartwarming tributes that this metal head has got from people around the globe. Sadly, the only thing that would always pinch is that he could not get it in the show and Hawkins remembers him as a traitor or some kind of Satan worshiper. Fans have mentioned this thing that the character died in vain because that city would never see him as a hero.

Will the final chapter of the horror drama justify Eddie Munson’s death?

We all know how badly people want to see Joseph Quinn back in the show, but the chance of his return is bleak. People want him to come back in any form so he could let people see the real human behind his freakish look. Sadly, from what Duffer Brothers told IndieWire last year, the show would not justify his heroism. According to them, they do not want to add anything new to the storyline as the characters are going to face the biggest battle.

“We’re doing our best to resist [adding new characters] for Season 5. We’re trying not to do that so we can focus on the OG characters, I guess,” said the creators.
