Although one cannot compare the efforts and hard work all the young actors of Stranger Things put in season 4, it is clearly visible that the leading character of the show went through a tough phase in her life. Eleven played by Millie Bobby Brown lost her powers, beloved father, identity,  and friends to distance. From tackling Claustrophobia inside the Nina tank to spending hours practicing the subconscious scenes of the past she gave her best performance in the last season. However, even after showing such determination, Millie Bobby Brown did not receive a nomination for MTV Movies and TV Awards this year. 

Recently, Deadline scrolled out the nomination list of the 2023 MTV Movies and TV Awards. The list included three Stranger Things stars who have bagged nominations for their incredible performance in season 4. Firstly, Sadie Sink is running under the category of Best Performance in a Show. Next in line is Jamie Campbell Bower as he received a nomination for Best Villian for his role in the show. 

Joseph Quinn has also landed a nomination for his breakthrough performance in the show. As we all know that Eddie Munson’s death set a higher bar for the final climax of this popular series. Unfortunately, the only sad news is that Millie Bobby Brown did not make it to any of the categories this year.

This certainly isn’t the first time that she is snubbed of nominations for a prestigious awards show. In the last year, this has happened several times that the Netflix star did not receive any recognition.

In February, Millie Bobby Brown got snubbed at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards even when the Twilight star did get a seat. Also, fans were appalled to see Golden Globes not giving a single nomination for the show. Not just that, even last year the British actress was robbed of her nomination at the time franchise bagged 13 primetime nominations. 

It is shocking considering the 19-year-old gave a tear-jerking performance in season four. Fans have often called her portrayal the crux of many key scenes and praised her ability to convey so many emotions.
