Snoop Dogg on Netflix: Streamer Releases Stand-Alone Holiday Party From NFL Halftime Show on Christmas

Christmas entertainment usually means cozy movies, old songs, and a familiar festive mood. This year, however, the NFL’s Christmas Day halftime show broke away from that routine and brought something far more unexpected. In the middle of the holiday action, the spotlight shifted to Snoop Dogg’s swagger-fueled performance, which instantly stood out.
It felt less like a short break in the game and more like a moment people would talk about later. Now, Netflix is giving viewers a chance to relive it without the football, as it releases the show as a standalone special.

Snoop Dogg brought his signature style to Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday Halftime Show in the Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions matchup. Titled Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party, the performance saw the rapper effortlessly deliver hits such as 'Drop It Like It's Hot', 'My Favorite Things', and 'G Thang'. This halftime show was released as a standalone special on Netflix on December 26 and is now available for streaming.
Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party also stood out for its wide mix of special guests across genres. Country star Lainey Wilson performed 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town', while HUNTR/X from Netflix’s K-Pop Demon Hunters, comprised of Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, delivered a pop take on 'The 12 Days of Christmas'.
Martha Stewart introduced Snoop Dogg with a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas, and Andrea Bocelli closed the set with a 'White Christmas' duet alongside his son, Matteo. Not all the spotlight was on the halftime show exclusively, though, as the talent kickstarting the gameday was also legendary.
A former Indian Idol winner opened Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday with a soulful performance.
Holiday football and musical moments like never before
Kelly Clarkson launched NFL Christmas Gameday with a prerecorded performance of her holiday hit 'Underneath the Tree' ahead of the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders game. Dressed in a white, bedazzled gown, she descended from the sky in a sleigh, performing in front of a towering Christmas tree on a snow-covered field. Backed by a live band and vocalists, the festive number also featured NFL stars, including Dak Prescott and Jared Goff, showing off football moves beside giant wrapped presents.
