AN EMOTIONAL JULIA GARNER THANKS THE OZARK TEAM FOR RUTH

The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards took place on September 12. The category of
Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series had some head-turner nominees.
Beating out Patricia Arquette (Severance), Jung Ho-Yeon (Squid Game

Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul), Sydney Sweeny (Euphoria) as well as
J.Smith-Cameron and Sarah Snook (Succession), actress Julia Garner emerged
victorious yet again for her role as Ruth Langmore in Netflix’s Ozark.



Having bagged the award in 2019, and in 2020, this is Garner’s third Primetime
Emmy. Understandably, the actress was extremely overwhelmed as she expressed her

well as her family. She specifically thanked the showrunner Chris Mundy and the
entire writers’ room.

“Thank you for writing Ruth. She’s changed my life,” said Julia, almost welling
