When the unavoidable topic of the 2011 DC failure, starring Ryan Reynolds, eventually came up, he expressed his regret with the words as per Variety, “too much time, too much money.” According to the Deadpool mercenary, the problem arose from the stem when people, instead of thinking through the character of Green Lantern, spent all the energy behind special effects.

According to Reynolds, even though it was “a lot of fun” to work with 180 plus people on the set; the “old school” way of thinking “did not work” for the superhero flick. Meanwhile, sitting at the premiere, watching the movie, the only words he could apparently recall were, “‘holy shit! And NO. NO!’”

It was crazy,” putting his true wit on display. The actor further addressed that he spent the following year trying to own up to it, as it appeared the only way for him to “kind of process it.”
