The story of Isla Gordon's unexpected ascent to the presidency of the Los Angeles Waves in Season 1 was just the beginning; the real test of her leadership lies in the chaotic, high-stakes drama of professional basketball yet to come. Season two of Running Point is set to tackle the shocking return of Cam Gordon, Isla’s older brother, who reappears from rehab ready to reclaim the presidency of the Los Angeles Waves. Isla’s effective leadership has brought the team its best season in five years, setting up a Gordon versus Gordon power struggle for control of the family business.

This conflict will intensify as Isla discovers Cam was the one leaking damaging rumors to the press during her tenure. Beyond the office, Isla’s love life remains complicated after the season one finale kiss with Coach Jay Brown, who may still accept a coaching job in Boston.

Isla must navigate the emotional fallout with her supportive ex-fiancé, Lev, while determining if her professional relationship with Jay can withstand a potential workplace romance.
