In the foggy whirl of the Cornish coast and salt air, Poldark witnessed Ross Poldark's return from battle to reclaim not only land, but hearts, in a world where love and betrayal swirled together with coal dust. The 2015 series lives on in pop culture history, and each shredded lace cemented in nostalgia and sweeping scenery. Fast forward to 2025, even years after the final curtain call, the curious high tides of its popular cast have not drowned.

As time moves, the Poldark stars shine bright, building up a lucrative profile.

Aidan Turner, who made Ross Poldark's stoic perseverance into a showstopping phenomenon, has continued working in film and TV after the glory days of Poldark. He guest-starred as Callum Ellis in Netflix's The Diplomat, released on October 16, 2025, as well as Toast of Tinseltown, and starred in The Suspect and Fifteen Love. He is also set to appear in The Last Planet and is currently starring in Rivals.

Meanwhile, Eleanor Tomlinson, who is adored as Demelza Poldark, continues her television and theater trajectory and new motherhood in 2025. Following the British historical series, she has starred in The Outlaws (2021-2024) as Lady Gabby Penrose-Howe, Netflix adaptation of One Day (2024), and War of the Worlds (2019), among others. And Jack Farthing, who played the villainous George Warleggan, has followed nuanced performances since Poldark. He has worked on Netflix rom-com Love Wedding Repeat (2020), BBC's series Towards Zero (2025), and Spencer (2021) opposite Kristen Stewart’s Princess Diana.

Apart from its villain, Poldark is not complete without its scene-stealing supporting cast who are creating a legacy of their own.

Poldark's supporting stars and new ventures

In addition to the leads, Poldark cultivated a rich ensemble of actors who have evolved since the show. Heida Reed, in the role of Elizabeth Poldark, has moved into action drama, such as Special Agent Jamie Kellett in FBI: International. Kyle Soller (Francis Poldark) has branched out into the Star Wars series Andor. Harry Richardson, who played the charming Drake Carne, went on to star in The Gilded Age, earning a 2024 cast-wide nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. In the meantime, Poldark directors, writers, and crew have continued to work together throughout British television, passing along design lessons from that Cornish epic.

Poldark: Where to watch and what’s next

Currently, Poldark is available on streaming via such platforms as Netflix in some territories, with the entire five-season series. In America, PBS's Masterpiece platform carries it, and DVD or digital download avenues are available through Apple TV, Amazon, and others. Though no official reboot is in the works, the show's creative lineage continues.

Of particular note, The Forsytes, a new period drama by Poldark's original writer Debbie Horsfield, boasts former Poldark cast members, including Eleanor Tomlinson, carrying Poldark's spirit into a new family, power, and social change saga. Even as the currents of time change, Poldark thrives, not only in the streaming era, but in the flicker of each of its cast members' works who once donned its salt-stained uniforms.
