It has been a busy stretch for Oscar Isaac following his appearance in Frankenstein for Netflix. He even earned a Golden Globe nomination for his performance, and now, he is making waves as Josh Martin in Beef season 2, with potentially more nominations or wins on his way. However, Oscar Isaac seems far from ready to put a pause on this beautiful streak of performances.

Adding another name to the list of award-winning directors he has worked with, Oscar Isaac will be starring in a project that has Martin Scorsese pulling the behind the scenes strings.

As reported by Deadline, Oscar Isaac will star in a new drama series for Netflix. He will play Robert Redman, also known as Bobby Red, the president of one of the most elite casinos in Las Vegas. And the drama will follow his character as he makes strategic decisions and ambitious moves to expand his influence in the city’s casino scene.

J.C. Chandor, who previously directed Isaac in Triple Frontier, will direct the first two episodes of the untitled Netflix project. Moreover, Billions creators Brian Koppelman and David Levien will serve as writers, showrunners, and executive producers. Isaac will also executive produce the series alongside Martin Scorsese.

This will not be the first collaboration between Isaac and Scorsese, as the legendary filmmaker previously served as an executive producer on The Card Counter, which starred the Frankenstein actor. The two are also set to appear together in the historical drama In the Hand of Dante, where they will play mentor and mentee. The project is also expected to arrive on Netflix in the future. While the collaboration already sounds promising, more details will likely emerge once the series receives an official release date.
