After emulating One Piece’s magic in a live-action format, Netflix is again trying to reimagine Eiichiro Oda’s epic story, but this time, into an exciting LEGO adventure. The live-action One Piece series returned earlier this year with a new season and is already in the works for a third season, which comes out next year. However, a new animated special will give the brand a much-needed LEGO twist, giving the franchise another rendition of the legendary story of the Straw Hat pirates.

Netflix might just have concocted the perfect One Piece adaptation with this LEGO special.

The new LEGO One Piece special on Netflix is presently scheduled to debut later in September. It will be a two-part reenactment of the events that have occurred thus far in the live-action series. Ahead of its premiere later this fall, the first look trailer for the new animated special has finally been made public.

On September 29, Netflix will release the new LEGO One Piece special, a two-part event that recounts the events of the first two seasons of the live-action series. The live-action cast will reprise all of their roles in the new LEGO production. Since Usopp enjoys telling stories, it has been hinted in the trailer that the story would be recounted from his perspective, which will undoubtedly make things much funnier.

This appears to be the ideal trip for Netflix's One Piece fans, based on the already fantastic LEGO designs for the characters now available on shelves. The trailer has already prompted exciting positive reviews, with several fans hailing it as a wild swing that combines LEGO humor and the rich storytelling of One Piece in the best way possible.
