It hurts a little bit more every time fans think about seeing Henry Cavill for the last time in The Witcher Season 3. This could be a bad omen for the creators to replace him considering how much people love him. It is clear that people do not want to see anyone taking his mantle and want the show to end. The latest teaser from the forthcoming season has left fans more enraged and they are bashing Netflix once again for this major reason.

One of the Twitter users recently shared a screenshot of Yennefer played by Anya Chalotra from The Witcher season 3 trailer. This eagle-eyed fan instantly noticed the outfit of the character which didn’t look like a medieval age costume. The actress was wearing a blue top paired with black pants that we mostly see women wearing these days. So the netizen mocked the designer writing, “The Netflix witcher s3 costume designers be like ”what if we buy clothes in H&M” ”

Seeing this post other fans instantly jumped in the comment section and started slamming the streaming giant for their decisions. Some users also pointed out how much the creators have taken liberties with Yennefer’s character. People who have read the books couldn’t accept the modifications they are doing to the characters and their outfits too.

Now that cavil is gone maybe the writers don't hide anymore "let's show them that we really do hate the witchers source material "

And I thought about watching the show, I'll just stick to playing the game for now

Apart from these small changes, people are now fearing what the creative team might change in the storyline. With Henry Cavill gone from the show, they have no hope that the series will follow the source material.
How will the departure of Henry Cavill affect The Witcher storyline?

Henry Cavill is known to be a huge fan of the books and video game adaptations of the fantasy show. So the British actor tried hard during his presence on the show to not let the writers deviate from sources. He has talked about it many times that he wishes to honor the legacy of Andrzej Sapkowski’s canon. However, from what people are noticing in season 3 it appears that the Netflix adaptation will drift further away from its origin.
Of course, it is understandable why viewers are furious with his exit from the show because he was the real Geralt who could save the show from ruin. Alas! this won’t be happening now as this fighter has laid his sword and will not return.
