A music-based publication is under fire again. This time for its choice of best Lana Del Rey song. Now, having a difference of opinion is common when it comes to our pick of favorite artists. But being far off the public’s choice is what draws flak for any selection of top music lists by a publication. While some fans agree, most are expressing how they disagree about the choice of a song.

As per Rolling Stone, Lana Del Rey’s ‘Video Games’ song is her best work till date. They released a list of her 50 top songs basing it on their success. The song was released back in 2011 and was certainly one of her first biggest single hits. It turned out to be both a commercial and critical success, expanding the artist’s name on a global platform. While it won several awards, the singer has continued on to making more than 100 songs in her career.

But songs like ‘Groupie Love’, ‘Summertime Sadness’, and ‘Young and Beautiful’ also make contenders for being some of the top-rated songs. The Brit Awards winner has released at least eight albums so far, with more in the making. So choosing one top song is already a tough choice. But despite the vintage haunting song with contemporary references, fans have put forth their own choices.
