Netflix’s Nobody Wants This has returned for Season 3 with nine new cast members joining Kristen Bell and Adam Brody. After two seasons of romantic near-misses, family interference and conversations teetering on theological debates, Joanne and Noah are finally building a life together. But that surely does not mean the show is about to run out of complications.
Just as any good rom-com makes sure the central relationship is just about everyone's business, this season has simply found more fresh people to tend to the broth.
Meet the new faces in town for Nobody Wants This
Season 3 of Nobody Wants This has brought in nine new characters, from religious-class rivals to potential romantic prospects, along with familiar faces from comedy and television to amp up the chaos. Some are set to complicate Joanne's conversion journey, while others arrive to remind the wider friend group that settling down is not child's play.
Andrew Rannells as Sebastien: Joanne's nemesis in conversion class.
Keyla Monterroso Mejia as Amber: Amber is another classmate whose goal is to find a Jewish husband.
Sarah Silverman as Rabbi Eden: Eden brings a warm, quirky teacher guiding the Intro to Judaism class.
Avan Jogia as Travis: A confident “guy's guy” who enjoys getting under Joanne's skin.

Erin Foster as Nicole: The series creator makes her on-screen debut as Nicole, a chaotic, chronically single woman who represents the version of Joanne whose life took a different turn.
Poorna Jagannathan plays Eleanor: Sebastien's sharp-tongued aunt, bringing another formidable personality into the show's expanding circle.
Sadie Sandler: Fresh off of Roommates, Sandler appears as Denise, a young psychic who gives Morgan a reading.
Stephanie Koenig as Poppy: an upbeat woman who dates Sasha.
Steven Weber: Rounding out the newcomers as Julian, a grounded, secure divorced dad entering the show's wider dating orbit.
With the will-they-won’t-they question settled, Season 3 turns to the messier business of building a life together.
Joanne and Noah enter their next chapter
All ten episodes of Nobody Wants This season 3 arrived on Netflix on October 22. After Season 2 ended with Joanne deciding to convert to Judaism, and Noah accepting that he wants to be with her regardless, the couple are moving in together and navigating the firsts of a more settled relationship.
The show’s co-showrunners have described the season as a chance to let them enjoy each other, while keeping their familiar flirtation and comic friction alive. Their friends have their own transitions as well. Sasha and Esther are pushed back into dating, while Morgan takes steps toward a bigger public profile and continues circling an unspoken possibility with Sasha.

Those side stories keep the series from treating Joanne and Noah’s commitment as the end of everyone else’s plot. The new cast members arrive at exactly the moment the central couple’s story has changed shape. With the biggest romantic question answered, the comedy can ask what comes after choosing each other.
