Following his role in the teen drama series Skins, Dev Patel paved his path to
stardom in Hollywood. Soon after that, the British star received a BAFTA
nomination for playing the lead role of Jamal Malik in Danny Boyle’s
drama Slumdog Millionaire. Needless to say, this talented actor has proven
himself in the entertainment world with numerous excellent performances.



In 2016, he garnered widespread critical acclaim for his Academy Awards-worthy
role in the biographical drama Lion. Seeing his varied and eclectic choices of
roles, many believe that Patel is ready to take on something more intense now.
However, Marvel fans have different views about it as they don’t approve of him
joining the superhero team in MCU.
