New Pictures of Henry Cavill as Geralt in ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Has Fans in a Pool of Tears

Photos from The Witcher season 3 are out. This season will be the last time that fans will see Henry Cavill swing his sword and don his shield. Certainly, the anticipation there has been high, with several speculations and theories coming out over the upcoming season. The cast members and show makers do drop a hint here and there occasionally, but without a proper trailer, the teaser is all that fans have to get a glimpse of what is coming.

Two photos from Cavill’s look as Geralt have surfaced to quench the thirst of fans. The photos are fresh from his last time appearing in the series, as Liam Hemsworth prepares to replace him. One has a close-up and angry-young-man look in his classic long white, greyish hair. Another shows him in action, looking at the camera and ready to swing.

Many held the opinion that Cavill was the perfect suit for the character in The Witcher. Although several differences with the makers are said to have led him to quit it. The news came as a surprise for fans of the show, leaving everyone emotional about it.

Many fans are clearly still upset over the actor’s exit, some are even mad at the show makers. The news has not gone down well with loyal fans of the show who still protest over the change. Show maker Lauren Hissrich also faced criticism over the direction that the show is heading in.

Some fans even vowed not to watch the show post-season 3. Although, it will be seen if Hemsworth manages to be an excellent replacement. Right now, Netflix has not even released a full trailer; only the teaser is out. The first volume of the upcoming season is set to release on 29th June.
