While many favorites are back, several guest stars and specialists served their purpose in the initial season and are moving on.

Those not returning for season 2 of Finding Her Edge

The ice may be ready for a second season, but several familiar faces have officially finished their routines.

Legacy Cameos: Moira Kelly and D.B. Sweeney (honoring The Cutting Edge). Their appearance in Season 1 was designed as a passing of the torch to the new generation.

Skating Pros: Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier(appearing as themselves). These are world-class, active, competitive skaters. They appeared as themselves to lend authenticity to the Season 1 competitions.

Supporting Roles: Matt Baram (Fraser Silman) and Fallon Bowman (Party Coordinator). With the fake dating drama evolving and the setting moving toward the high-pressure World Championships, these localized service roles are no longer required for the story to progress.

The Author: Jennifer Iacopelli, who made a cameo as the Librarian. It is a popular tradition for authors to make a one-time blink-and-you ’ll-miss-it cameo in the first season of their book's adaptation.

The production also bids farewell to various specialists, including Viphusan Vani (Raj), Kavita Musty (Doctor), and Marcello Ranieri (Guillame), as well as the initial stunt crew and various arena officials from the Season 1 qualifiers.
