Netflix Unveils Upcoming Hulk Hogan Documentary With Never-Seen Final Interview
Hulk Hogan stands as one of the defining faces of WWE’s golden era, the man whose “Real American” persona helped propel wrestling into mainstream entertainment. Clad in bright yellow and those iconic bandanas, his larger-than-life charisma inside the ring and on camera made him a household name across generations.
His boom-mic intensity and American pride gimmick became synonymous with the company’s identity during its explosive growth. When news of his death hit, fans and peers alike felt the loss deeply, mourning the passing of a true icon. Now, Netflix is set to revisit his life and legacy through a new documentary that promises to go deeper than ever before.
Months after his passing, Netflix's tribute to Hulk Hogan has risen not from the grave, but from remembrance.

Netflix drops Hulk Hogan documentary with final interview
Netflix is pulling back the curtain on wrestling icon Hulk Hogan with Hulk Hogan: Real American, a gripping four-part docuseries hitting screens April 22. The series spotlights Hogan's final on-camera chat, recorded just before his death last July 24, where the legend reflects on his brutal ring battles and divided legacy. Viewers score exclusive, never-before-aired clips from Hogan's epic four-decade run from 1977 to 2012, chronicling his reign as a 12-time world champ and double WWE Hall of Famer.
His swan song with WWE was a surprise cameo on Raw's Netflix debut back in January. The documentary also packs candid sit-downs with ex-wife Linda Hogan plus ring greats like Bret "Hitman" Hart, Jimmy Hart, and nWo comrade Kevin Nash, unpacking the Hulkamania highs, scandals, and the man behind the mustache.
While the documentary offers an intimate look at Hulk Hogan's final reflections, another major WWE event is also heading to Netflix.
Wrestlemania 42 set for Las Vegas with Netflix broadcast
WrestleMania 42 lands as a two-night blockbuster on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event returns to the same venue that hosted WrestleMania 41. WrestleMania 42 will stream live on ESPN in the U.S. and on Netflix everywhere else, underlining WWE’s expanded global broadcast deal.

The card is stacked with multiple title matches and marquee showdowns. CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns, who won the 2026 men’s Royal Rumble to earn his pick. Cody Rhodes will put the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Randy Orton, while the women’s division features Stephanie Vaquer defending the Women’s World Championship against Liv Morgan.
John Cena will also make a high-profile return, not as an active competitor but as the host of WrestleMania 42, his first WWE appearance since his in-ring retirement match against Gunther in December 2025. Together, the Hulk Hogan: Real American docuseries and WrestleMania 42 place WWE firmly at the center of Netflix’s April programming, underscoring the company’s push into streaming-first storytelling and mega-events.
