Netflix Korea has just unleashed a teaser clip compiling moments from all its major 2026 Korean content lineup, highlighting Boyfriend on Demand starring BLACKPINK's Jisoo. The stars of Can This Love Be Translated, Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung, set the enticing tone for the clip, picking one card for each show at a time, and promising stories that evoke excitement, immersion, thrill, laughter, and surprise.

In the brief teaser, Jisoo's character expresses a range of emotions from ecstasy to exhaustion as she asks her co-lead (Seo In-guk) what the name of his service is. At the center of the story is Seo Mi-rae, a burnt-out webtoon producer who is on the verge of giving up when, by chance, she gets acquainted with a virtual dating program.

Mi-rae, engulfed in her work with no time for love, seeking out a boyfriend service,  could not have more relatably depicted the struggle of modern life. The drama promises to offer both fun and serious sentiments as she traverses through love in an artificial environment.

Unveiled on social media on January 21, 2026, the announcement builds on Netflix's bold investment in K-content, with an entire slate full of megastar-driven dramas. With shows starring Cha Eun-Woo (True Beauty), Jung Hae-in (Love Next Door), Song Hye-kyo (The Glory), Gong Yoo (Squid Game), and more, the #WhatNext teaser promises to keep viewers booked and busy. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo's entry to Netflix has got the anticipation sky-rocketing.
