This streaming debut is part of Universal and Focus Features’ standard Pay-1 licensing agreement. Under this arrangement, theatrical releases first land on Universal's dedicated platform, Peacock - where Obsession premiered on July 17 - for an initial four-month window. Following that period, the film transitions exclusively to Netflix for a ten-month window before returning to Peacock.

Precisely four months following its initial drop on Peacock, the biggest horror surprise of the year is heading to Netflix. Upon its arrival, the movie will stay on Netflix for a ten-month stretch before rotating back to Peacock to wrap up the final four months of its Pay-1 window, as reported by What’s on Netflix.
