According to a recent Deadline report citing industry insiders, Ozark actor Julia Garner is currently in the final talks for a lead role in a Netflix limited series that follows the growth and decay of FTX. Netflix has been the claim to fame for millions of stars who glisten in Tinseltown, and Julia Garner is one name known all too well. Having found recognition with Netflix’s crime drama series Ozark in 2017, opposite Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, the role of Ruth Langmore earned her three Primetime Emmys for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. The following year, Garner portrayed Emma Stone’s sister, Ellie, in Netflix’s miniseries Maniac.

Although this is not the first FTX series commissioned by a streamer, the stakes are visibly high for the project coming up on Netflix.
