Netflix has finally raised a fresh toast to the Guinness dynasty. House of Guinness has officially been renewed for a second season. However, Steve Knight's involvement this season remains to be seen. Knight is currently occupied with completing the screenplay for the next James Bond adventure; yet, his long-term vision suggests the Guinness family drama has plenty of bitter rivalries, dangerous secrets, and intoxicating conflicts still waiting to spill.
“We are going to do season two and three and four … we are going to do this all the way to the 1960s,” Knight previously promised while discussing his ambitious plans for the saga. The Peaky Blinders creator clearly envisions a sprawling family chronicle that will stretch across generations, much like his famous Birmingham gangster epic.
Season two is expected to return to the immediate chaos following the shocking shooting at Arthur Guinness's rally, where a key character's survival remained uncertain, as Variety confirmed. The next chapter is also likely to reunite the fierce Guinness siblings, with Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, whose Enola Holmes 3 trailer promises an exciting adventure, Emily Fairn, and Fionn O'Shea expected to resume their battle for power and legacy.
And while fans wait for the second season of House of Guinness and the surprise that it will bring, there are other similar titles that fans can visit in the meanwhile.
Titles similar to House of Guinness to watch
While Steven Knight's Peaky Blinders remains the most obvious companion to House of Guinness, several other dramas capture the same intoxicating cocktail of power, privilege, and painful family fractures. Succession is perhaps the closest spiritual cousin, turning a modern media empire into a battlefield where siblings wage a relentless war for inheritance, approval, and ultimate control.
For viewers drawn to historical grandeur and complicated bloodlines, The Crown explores how status, responsibility, and immense wealth can quietly destroy personal relationships behind palace walls. Meanwhile, The Last Kingdom delivers fierce loyalty, shifting alliances, and brutal political games where family ties often become both a weapon and a weakness.
