Netflix May 2026 Releases: Everything to Watch Next Month on Streaming

April has been a strong month for Netflix, with impressive releases including If Wishes Could Kill and Him. And the streaming giant has plans to turn up the heat even more in the upcoming month. May’s lineup is stacked with binge-worthy thrillers, action delights, and feel-good rom-coms. Long-awaited new seasons are finally making their return, while familiar favorites will emerge on the platform alongside a wave of notable new titles. 

With so much on the slate for May, here is the entire lineup to keep on the radar.

Netflix goes big with its May 2026 releases: May 1st to May 10th

Netflix will bring old classics back, including 48 Hrs., Airport, Airport ’77, Airport 1975, Schindler’s List, National Lampoon’s Animal House, Starship Troopers, The Breakfast Club, Pretty Woman, 13 Going on 30, Fried Green Tomatoes, Hitch, The Land Before Time, and Meet the Parents on May 1. Rest of the titles to drop on the same day are Glory, My Dearest Señorita, Son-In-Law, Swapped, Bad News Bears, The Boss, Burn After Reading, Den of Thieves, Domestic Disturbance, Eat Pray Love, Green Book, Home, Jennifer’s Body, Jumanji Jumping the Broom, La Brea: Seasons 1-3, The Proposal Trainwreck Under the Skin Veronica Mars Waterworld, Ouija, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers. 

The second day of May will bring Dr. Seuss’s Horton! Season 2, Funny AF with Kevin Hart NETFLIX LIVE EVENT (semi-final), and Lord of the Flies. On May 5, Netflix will drop Funny AF with Kevin Hart — NETFLIX LIVE EVENT (finale), followed by Countdown: Rousey vs. Carano, Love is Blind Poland, and Worst Ex Ever: Season 2. While The Chestnut Man: Hide and Seek, Legends, My Dearest Assassin, and USA 94: Brazil’s Return to Glory arrive on May 8, The Roast of Kevin Hart — NETFLIX LIVE EVENT will be released on May 10.

May 11 th to May 20th

While Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and Pop Culture Jeopardy! arrives on May 11th, Marty, Life Is Short, and Untold UK: Jamie Vardy will follow on May 12th. May 13–15 will bring drama, sports, and thrillers, including Between Father and Son, The Bus: A French Football Mutiny, Perfect Match: Season 4, Roosters: Season 2, Nemesis, Soul Mate, Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine, The Crash, and The WONDERfools. The horror sequel Black Phone 2 and the live showdown, Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano — NETFLIX LIVE EVENT, will drop on May 16.

May 18 brings Abraham Lincoln: Season 1, FDR: Season 1, Grant: Season 1, The Great War, Law and Order: Season 23-24, Navy SEALs: America’s Secret Warriors: Seasons 1-2, Nope, Theodore Roosevelt: Season 1, Thomas Jefferson: Season 1, and Washington: Season 1.

May 19–21 wraps up the slate with Untold UK: Liverpool’s Miracle of Istanbul and Wanda Sykes: Legacy on May 19, Carizzma, May 21st, The Boroughs, and James on May 20.

May 21st to May 31st

May 22 brings action with Canada: Sprint Qualifying (CA) — NETFLIX LIVE EVENT and F1 Canadian Grand Prix: Practice 1 (CA) — NETFLIX LIVE EVENT. New titles like Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie, Ladies First, and Mating Season will be released on the same day.

While F1 Canadian Grand Prix: Qualifying (CA) — NETFLIX LIVE EVENT and F1 Canadian Grand Prix: Sprint (CA) — NETFLIX LIVE EVENT will arrive on May 23, the next day will feature F1 Canadian Grand Prix: Race (CA) — NETFLIX LIVE EVENT. Untold UK: Vinnie Jones on May 26 will be followed by A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder: Season 2, My 2 Cents, and Room to Move on May 27.

May 28 sees the return of The Four Seasons: Season 2 and Murder Mindfully: Season 2, while May 29 brings Brazil ’70: The Third Star, Calabasas Confidential, and Rafa. The last day of the month will release the much-anticipated AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Eddie Murphy and the acclaimed biographical drama The Theory of Everything. All in all, May 2026 is packed with nostalgia, star power, and new storytelling across genres, along with live events.
