Netflix’s 'Little House on the Prairie:' Full Cast and Where Have You Seen Them Before
Little House on the Prairie, based on the Laura Ingalls book series by the same name, has been making itself cozy in between Netflix's titles. Leaving behind the first ever adaptation that aired between 1932 and 1971, Netflix's beloved collection is, too, focused on Ingalls' childhood and early adulthood in the Midwest with her family from 1872 to 1894. While NBC’s adaptation set out with Michael Landon, Karen Grassle, and Melissa Gilbert, Netflix has brought in faces familiar with the 21st century.
In January 2025, Netflix announced a reboot of this nostalgic drama and novel series with a new cast, set to release in July 2026.
